On January 24 1917 Ernest Borgnine was born and with over 100 feature films to his name and countless television appearances is still going strong... with such an endless list of films that he has been in, there are many to choose from but some stand out from the rest... enjoy!

1 Marty (1955) Director Delbert Mann
Adapted from TV Play-Borgnine shines as amiable yet forever rejected bachelor who has given up on love until his luck changes. Borgnine received a well deserved Oscar for his work.

2 The Wild Bunch (1969) Director Sam Peckinpah
