Movies for Tuesday September 21, 2010

September 21 is International Day of Peace, it is dedicated to peace, or the absence of war. With International Day of Peace in mind, the theme for today will be films that celebrate peace-enjoy!

  1. My favourite performances from Woodstock include Ten Years After, Santana, Hendrix. See the director's cut which includes Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin and others not in version that was on VHS. Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner, on the Monday morning, is perhaps the most important guitar performance of the whole era.
