Yellowbeard had one of the ngreatest comedy casts of all time (John Cleese, Eric Idle, Peter Cook, Marty Feldman, Cheech and Chong, etc.) but the director knew nothing about shooting comedy.. Captain Blood is creaky but sword fight between Flynn and Rathbone is always fun. I've seen an earlier version of Treasure Island with young Jackie Cooper and Lionel Barrymore. The silent version has Lon Chaney Sr. as Long John Silver, and I will one day find that one.
