July 7 is Tanabata, which is a Japanese star festival (held at night) that celebrates the meeting of two stars that are only able to meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. With this Japanese holiday in mind, the theme for today will be films with Japanese Directors... enjoy!
