May 12th is International Nurses Day; the International Council of Nurses has celebrated this day since 1965 to acknowledge all of the valuable contributions that nurses make to society. With International Nurses Day in mind, the theme for today are films with nurses... enjoy!

1 One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (1975) Director Milos Forman
Academy Award winning film about a man (Jack Nicholson) who ends up institutionalized and the hardships he encounters under the control of a power hungry nurse (Louise Fletcher). 2. The World According to Garp (1982) Director George Roy Hill
Film about a young man (Robin Williams) who is strongly influenced by his mother who is a feminist nurse (Glenn Close). Glenn Close was nominated for an Oscar for her portrayal and John Lithgow was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as one of Close's quirky followers...
