March 30th is National Doctor's Day, which is celebrated every March 30th in the United States. The first Doctors Day observance was held in 1933 in Georgia by the wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond to commemorate the good works of all doctors throughout the U.S. This first observance included mailing greeting cards and placing flowers on graves to commemorate those who had dedicated their lives to the profession.... a red carnation is the symbolic flower used to represent National Doctors Day. With National Doctors Day in mind, the theme for today will be movies that have doctors as prominent characters in them-enjoy!
